Apstrakt
For a fast and accurate evaluation of spurious counts a numerical coinci­dence method has been developed. This method makes use of an auxiliary counter operated in coincidence with the counter under investigation. From the number of noncoincident counts from the investigated counter the number of its spurious counts can be determined.
