Modeling of nanostructured TiO2 spheres obtained by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis

Theoretical model given in our former references [V. Jokanovic, Dj. Janackovic, A.M. Spasic, D. Uskokovic, Mater. Trans., JIM 37 (1996) 627: V. Jokanovic. Dj. Janackovic, D. Uskokovic, Ultrason. Sonochem. 6 (1999) 157; V. Jokanovic, Dj. Janackovic, D. Uskokovic, J. Nanostruct. Mater. 12 (1999) 349] describing the structure and substructure of hollow TiO2 sphere is compared with experimental obtained data for mean particle diameter, their discrete values and intensity in the spectrum of size distribution. Fully agreement between theoretically obtained basic structural parameters (particle/sub-particle size distribution) and experimentally determined values was found. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
