The present paper reports on spectroscopic investigation of copigmentation effect of quercetin on cyanidin molecule. It was found that the association of cyanidin with the copigment molecule, namely quercetin, occurred for flavylium ion (pH 3.0) as well as for its pseudobase transformation form (pH 5.0)
