Laboratorije i centri
Institut je organizovan u vidu radnih i istraživačkih jedinica koje se, po tradiciji iz 1948. nazivaju laboratorije, a koje su u današnje vreme znatno samostalne u radu i poslovanju. Sada postoji 13 istraživačkih laboratorija, tri centra, Spoljnotrgovinski promet i Jedinica zajedničkih službi. Svaka od ovih jedinica ima i internu brojnu oznaku, radi lakšeg raspoznavanja.Колекције у овој групи
