Izloženost pedijatrijskih pacijenata u KT dijagnostici u Crnoj Gori

Abstract

U radu su prikazani rezultati sakupljanja podataka o izloženosti pacijenata u pedijatrijskoj KT dijagnostici u Crnoj Gori. Istraživanje je izvršeno u dječjoj bolnici Crne Gore kao i u Urgentnom centru koji su sastavni djelovi Kliničkog centra Crne Gore. Podaci su sakupljeni u formi volumetrijskog KT doznog indeksa (CTDIvol) i proizvod doze i dužine (DLP) za različite starosne grupe pedijatrijskih pacijenata i odnose se na proceduru snimanja glave. Svi rezultati ispitvanja su očitani sa komandnih konzola KT uređaja. Srednje vrijednosti za CTDIvol i DLP su na nivou vrijednosti za odrasle pacijente i kreću se u opsegu (35-39) mGy i (402-638) mGy·cm za uzrast djece od (0-1) godina; (40-48) mGy i (655-804) mGy·cm za uzrast djece od (1-5) godina; (48-57) mGy i (710-1343) mGy·cm za uzrast djece od (5-10) godina i (45-69) mGy i (708-1749) mGy·cm za uzrast djece od (10-15) godina. Iz ovog proističe da je pedijatrijskoj KT dijagnostici neophodna i to hitno optimizacija prakse, odnosno protokola.

Results on collecting data, concerning exposure of patients in pediatric computerized tomographic (CT) diagnostic in Montenegro, have been presented in this work. Institute for children diseases and Emergency Center, all being the integral parts of Clinical Center of Montenegro, have been covered by this work. Data have been collected in the form of volumetric KT dose index, as well as in the form of the product of dose and length (CTDIvol and DLP), for various age groups of pediatric patients, and they refer to head scanning procedure. All examinations results have been recorded from the command consoles of KT devices. Values for CTDIvol and DLP are on the level of adult patients and they vary, in the scope (35-39) mGy, i.e. (402-736) mGy·cm for children age (0-1); (40-48) mGy and (655-804) mGy·cm for age (1-5); (48-57) mGy and (710-1343) mGy·cm for children age (5-10), and (45-69) mGy and (708-1749) mGy·cm for children age (10-15). Therefore, this shows that CT diagnostic needs urgent optimization of practice, meaning protocol.
