The wondrous challenges of the exotic bio-inspired worlds of nanomachines and artificial intelligence

Along with the development of nanotechnology, bioengineering, and biology, there is an intensive development of nanomedicine and biological nanomachines, which, given their unique applications, open a completely new chapter in the development of new technologies, using mechanisms based on information transfer in the human body at the cellular level, creating opportunities for incredible applications in medicine, from the point of view of prolonging human life and its quality. These mechanisms also open up the possibility of a completely new understanding of artificial intelligence, which is increasingly inspired by the intelligence of living systems and its selective mechanisms of interchanging information and signals imitating biological systems. Although the current biological nanomachines are not yet developed to the level of the wider applications, their future is extremely promising. In the optimistic predictions in the near future, they will become very significant part of archit...ecture of all tiny smart systems. This chapter is organized in order to provide an extensive overview of the enormous capabilities of such machines, both from the point of view of their current and future architecture (hardware) and the communications capabilities based on the molecular processes of transfer information (software), showing that such machines can become very fast part of our everyday reality.
